Includes information about the Norse in America, whaling and Jens Munk's attempt to discover a passage between Greenland and America to East Indies in 1619-20. The folding plate depict natives with fishing utensiles, weapons, kayaks and the fish Narwal. - Vord. Innengelenk eingerissen. Vereinzelt Anstreichungen mit Bleistift, ansonsten sauber u. ordentlich. Exlibris. - Sehr selten. - Enthält u.a. Beschreibung der Entdeckung Grönlands, seiner Ureinwohner, Pflanzen, Tiere etc. Die Karte deckt das gesamte von La Peyrere beschriebene Gebiet von Spitzbergen im Osten bis zum Winterhaferi von Jens Munk im Westen ab. Die Tafel zeigt Eskimos, Narwal u. Kaiak.
