Publication was announced by a full page advertisement on the (not present here) inside front wrapper of part 15 of the monthly issue of the Pickwick Papers. It was originally to be completed in ten parts, as announced in the advertisement and as stated on the (also not present) front wrapper of the first five parts. Onwhyn's suite of 32 plates are each captioned below with excerpts from the text. - Very scarce. - Stockfleckig, tls. im Bug verstärkt, 1 Taf. lose, Vors. erneuert, N.a.V. - Sehr selten.
